About the Founder
Aloha! My name is Lielle!
At the age of 8, while learning about my favourite sea animal; dolphins, I developed an awareness of the negative impacts of ocean pollution. Soon after, I participated in my first beach clean up and learned about microplastics. I was shocked at the amount of microplastics that I saw washed up on our local beach. This had a huge impact on me.
After that experience, I became more curious on how to stop ocean pollution and educate young girls like me.
As a passion project, I created Girls Save The Sea (GSTS) which provides educational workshops and community outreach programs, with the goal of stopping ocean pollution.
GSTS is a place for young girls who are active, love the sea, and care about ocean pollution. I hope that your daughter is eager to join Girls Save The Sea to make friends, and lasting memories, while protecting the place that they love.

Mahalo!
